As we received our Catana 53, we made the choice to be accompanied by an experienced skipper for the handling of our boat. David was recommended to us by a friend.

We called on David's services, on the advices of absolutesail.com who sold us our catamaran.
After sailing for two months in the Southern Antilles, it seemed essential to us for the safety, peace of mind and peace of the household, to acquire a solid foundation on how to sail with this type of boat, which is rather fast and powerful for us. David was able to lay the foundations for this learning process, provide us with clear explanations of the behavior of the boat and begin work on reassurance. Indeed, we have gone from a strongal monohull, for peaceful navigation, to a fast drifting catamaran. Technically nothing to do...
He was also able to intervene on the technical aspect of the boat : engine, choice of sails, maintenance and use of on-board equipment. Finally, he wrote a complete report which will serve as a support for the upcoming refit of our boat. David is an ultra competent skipper, sailor and guide in his field.
